I've been working on a game for a while called Forest heart under Green dot games. Just got permission to publish these studies I did for it. These were done rather quickly since it's now mainly about the look and feel of the different playable areas.

One of my earliest works is still one of my favourites. Made from the heart and done with much naive passion. I wanted this in my portfolio but it didn't fit the quality of the rest of my work. High time to polish it up :)

Newly polished ( Man I hope this caption isn't necessary to see that haha) 

I'm polishing up on my old work. Maybe you remember these characters. Decided to see what I had learned and I wanted to strenghten up my portfolio. 

If you look at the earlier renditions it's much less detailed and also pretty shitty lightingwise. Especially the middle knight.

I've learned not to exaggerate too much in colors and to use subtle hue or value changes to keep the lighting solid. Glad to see this progress.
